Hi all,

Our Eclipse-based application does not seem to allow software updates.
I am using Eclipse 3.5.1, and our application is defined as a plug-in
product in a .product file. It is built using a PDE headless build.

Firstly, in our bundled IDE the appearance of the software updates UI is
completely different to that in the host Eclipse. It is the 'classic' UI
from previous versions of Eclipse (where there is a submenu 'Software
Updates'. How do I get it to be the new UI (with the Install New
Software...' menu item?

Second, software updates always fails at the stage of selecting the
features to install. Whatever features are selected the error message
'Resulting configuration does not contain the platform.' is displayed.

Perhaps I'm being really stupid here, but if anyone can point me on the
right track I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance,

Matt D.
