Hi,

Matthias is probably still on vacation, but this Eclipse day in Berlin won't
be on till October anyway:

Looks like this event is focused more on software/programming models (as opposed to disease models). I imagine a talk on how STEM uses Eclipse Equinox would fit but probably not an epi talk....

Although the audience may be small, I proposed a slightly updated STEM talk
mainly based on different populations and migration:

Please let me know if important features are missing from the proposal...

Thanks for updating on that. I guess we may mention it to Matthias since it
is happening in Berlin. Even if no contributor to STEM was likely to speak,
he or other people located in the area might go there if they can.

Hi Werner,
thanks for the link- I think at least one of us here in Berlin will attend this meeting, but as my new team members will start their position in October they will not be able to present something on STEM software development issues there already.

As emailed earlier, here's Ian's offer for a JavaOne pass for the most
original Eclipse experience:

Good Luck and hoping to see one of you there,

Matthias,

There's also a Eclipse DemoCamp scheduled this fall in Berlin:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_DemoCamps_November_2010

Would be a great opportunity to hold a STEM demo there.

Should you be in the position to host it, check:

Beside an invitation and proposal for Bangalore on the 19th I am seriously
considering to co-organize one in Chennai.

I found this link to a Geospatial Portal on Air quality in Chennai:
http://www.gisdevelopment.net/application/environment/air/en va001.htm

Maybe not quite another STEM user story yet, but considering the various
models already presented on the site, I wouldn't say it's impossible.

If the Chennai DemoCamp works, there I hope to present both UOMo and STEM,
maybe Babel if the cultural or i18n aspects also matter, especially in
India..
Given UOMo is built around ICU4J, there's also room for that there.

If anybody who looked at STEM lived near Chennai or Bangalore, I would be
happy to meet them at one of these occasions.
