Hello,

i have a question to commercial rcp development.

If i develop a commecial application which based on rcp,
what i have to do based on the EPL? Which responsibilities have the developer?

I think the "about dialog" is the right place for this stuff.
Maybe a short text similar to "This product includes software developed by the Eclipse Software Foundation .. url".

And in the about dialog of an rcp, the user can look (under "Installation Details") which plugins are used and see there the license, too.

Is this enough?
Also a short text and to list the whole plugins (with license) which are used?

THX

Hi budili,

No, you don't have to do that.

The EPL is available here:
http://www.eclipse.org/org/documents/epl-v10.php Look at the Commercial
Distribution part. Its best you interpret this with your lawyer, than
asking for help in this forum.
