hi Ed,
Ok np, other question I saw that the emf.gwt.common/emf.gwt.ecore plugin has a dependency on the com.google.gwt.user
plugin. Why is that (removing this dependency did not result in compile errors)? Is there a place I can find this gwt
plugin?

Martin,
I think that if you install the GWT SDK and have it configured, then the
dependencies are satisfied from that too. When I started, I pulled
these directly from Orbit's CVS. I was thinking about how we'd build
with Buckminster and about CQs for the library upon which we depend, so
using stuff from Orbit seemed a good way for both those...

Sorry that I chime in without having played with EMF GWT. I just want to mention that I generally think such external dependencies should be pulled in through Import-Package rather than Require-Bundle manifest headers to enable consumers/deployers to install different distributions. A good example is the com.google.inject Orbit plugin that, in fact, contains the com.google.guice package.
