Hi,

I need to call RCP application from a command or menu of Java Swing application. Is it feasible?. I have explored SWT_AWT bridge, through which Spring application can be converted to RCP. This scenario is not feasible for me as my Swing application is extremely complex and i don't want to change it entirely into RCP. I just need to call RCP application from Java Swing

Regards,
Nidhi

I'm not sure what you mean. If you start an application from another
application, this is like starting a new process from another process -
in which way should you be required to use the SWT_AWT bridge?

See
http://help.eclipse.org/helios/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse. platform.doc.isv/reference/misc/eclipsestarter.html

That discusses how to start an eclipse-based java app from within
another java app (which may or may not be swing based :-)
