Hello,
I have a very general question. I use the CDT enviroment and find it very useful. I also integrated a static source code checker (QA-C) into that enviroment and it runs allmost perfect.

The QA-C tool creates some files, the file format is adjustable. The content is scanned by the error parser of CDT and available in the problem view.

Now the question: I need a kind of Report, both for the developer and "printed" (e.g. PDF) for the customer. Is it a good Idea to use birt for this?

Best regards,
Olaf

Olaf,

Without knowing anymore detail I would answer yes. If you need
reporting BIRT is an excellent option. Does the tool create files or
just write to the problems view?
