Hi GMF Gurus,

I have a little problem and hope that somebody has a solution.
I found some similiar topics in this forum but that didn't help me.

Currently I'm developing a graphical editor using a XML Schema for my .genmodel.
The XML Structure is specified so I can't (or should not) change it.

A short example for my XML Structure (I replaced the names of my Tags):

<Candyshop>
   <Sweet>
      <Marshmellow name="something" />
      <Chocolate name="something" />
   </Sweet>
   <Sour>
      <Sour_Candy name="something" />
   </Sour>
   <Awful>
      <Licorice name="something" />
   </Awful>
</Candyshop>

The root-element of my models is <Candyshop> but I don't want the user to drag&drop <Sweet>, <Sour> and <Awful> in the Editor.

The palette Toolbar should contain Marshmellow, Chocolate, Sour_Candy and Licorice and the user should be able to drag&drop these childs in the Editor.

When the User adds "Chocolate" to the editor it should be a child of "Sweet" which is a child of "Candyshop".

Is this possible?
Is assume by putting "Chocolate" to the editor some function in the background should add it as a child to "Sweet" and add this as a child to "Candyshop".
(But "Sweet" should not appear on the editor!)
I hope somebody knows how to do that Wink
