I have Mylyn in Eclipse connected to a JIRA system with the Atlassian Connector, and it's fantastic. However, I've run into a bit of a problem.

Mylyn thinks that a day is 24 hours. JIRA thinks a day is 7 hours. Likewise, Mylyn thinks a week has 7 days when JIRA thinks a week is 5 days. When I tell Mylyn that a task will take a day, it shows up in JIRA (in the web interface) as 3.43 days.

Is there any way I can configure Mylyn to use a different conversion between the various units of time? Can I tell Mylyn that a day really only has 7 hours?

The JIRA Connector has moved to Atlassian. I would recommend to ask your
question in their support forum:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Mylyn/FAQ#What_happened_to_the_Mylyn _JIRA_Connector.3F

Also check this FAQ entry, it might already have an answer to your question:

Believe it or not, I didn't think to check the Atlassian site documentation. That FAQ entry answered my question perfectly--thanks!
