I understand this is not considered a bug, but it is annoying nonetheless.

Is there some way I can force my custom TextEditor to move the cursor to
the place where the right-click happened before showing the context
menu? i.e.: simulate a left-click before processing a right-click.

I didn't find anything relevant.

It would be nice to have such an option even in the IDE.
