Long-time Eclipse user.
Whenever I see the 'Welcome' page, I just click it off.
However, I just installed RAP Release 1.0 plugins, and can't get them to
work.
So... I go look at the "Getting Started" page on the web, and find out
that I was supposed to click something on the 'Welcome' page to finish
the install of RAP.
I can't get the Welcome page back. The default Welcome page under
'Help' doesn't show anything about RAP.
....
How do I get RAP installed the rest of the way, now? Do I re-install it
(basically, remove my entire Eclipse install, and start over)?

Hi Jim,
as RAP is delivered as a target platform you normally just need to
download the target, unzip it and load it as target platform.
As most Eclipse users are not familiar with Target Platforms we provided
the intro plugin. So it's not really needed, it's just a helper.
You don't need to reinstall eclipse. You should be able to rerun the
steps by opening the Overview Page of the Welcome page. There you'll
find an item "Rich Ajax Platform". Another way would be to hit Crtl+3
and type "Install RAP" (yes, it's a bug not a feature ;) )
Hope that helps!

Ah... the only problem with that is that I installed via the update
site, which should've installed the correct target platform code for me.
I thought.
The Ctrl+3 trick worked, though. Thanks.
