Running a RCP-App (Eclipse 3.6RC3) installed on a network-drive fails - with non writable configurat [message #538301] |

Hi,
I've writte a tool at work, which is installed on a network-device and
also the eclipse(application)-user-directories (-data, -configuration)
are located inside the user directories on network-devices.
While I use Eclipse 3.5 at platform, all thing's working fine.
Now I update this to Eclipse 3.6.RC3 and I get the message:
Invalig configuration Location
The configuration area at '<Lw>:\<Path>' is not writable. Please choose
a writable location ....
I dont change anything on the devices or the appclication options.
At bugzilla I found the bug 289322, and maybe its the same problem, but
if I understand it right it should be fixed. :(
Should I file a new bug, because I have the problem on a exported
product, or should I add a comment to the existing bug?
Greetings
Heiko
