PDT All-in-one build - what am I missing? [message #54213] Sun, 23 September 2007 13:39 Go to next message

I am running on RHEL 5/Apache 2.2.4/ PHP 5.2.3 / MySQL 5.0.45

I have installed two versions:-

pdt-1.0.0.R20070917-debugger-5.2.10.v20070905-all-in-one-lin ux-gtk.tar.gz
pdt-all-in-one-1.0-R20070917-linux-gtk.tar.gz

Neither of them seem aware of PHP nor have any relevant perspectives, I
can't start a new PHP project. I'm clearly missing something but what?
Have I downloaded the wrong file or missed an instruction somewhere?

Thanks

Alan

Ignore my previous messgae - I have both 1.4.2 and 1.5.0 installed, how
do I tell PDT which one to use (it looks like it needs 1.5)

Define your PATH variable so Java 1.5 will be the first one (run "java -version" to verify)

2nd chance:

C:\dev\eclipse\eclipse.exe -vm
C:\Dev\Java\jdk1.6.0_02\bin -vmargs -Xms256M -Xmx512M

something like this (-vm [path to jdk bin])
