Hello,

I have a problem with the image in my report. Because I'd like to set the size of "size-to-image". In the Bug 212502 I've seen that there was a problem in the version 2.3.0 which should be solve for version 2.5.0. Now I use BIRT 2.5.2 and I can't found the size in the advanced properties.

Please can anyone say me, if there was still a problem or how I will define the scale of an image.

Thanks for your help and excuse my confused english, but this forum seems better than the german one.

Take a look at the fit to container property in the advanced settings.
This will determine if the image is clipped or scaled. You will also
want to look at the fixed/Auto report layout option that is in the
general report properties.

Hallo Jason,

I have tried to set the parameter fit to container and also the general layout (fix, auto) parameter, but there were no differenc in my PDF.

My image is set in a cell of a table and the image is always stretched to the size of my cell. It makes no matter in which combination.

I'd like to print the original size of my image and if it will be bigger then the width of my cell it has to scale down to the width of my cell and the high has to scale down, so that my image is not distorted.

Is this possible in Birt?

Thank's for your help.

Any chance you could make a report with just your image and the cell and
send it to me at jasonweathersby at windstream dot net?

okay, I've really made a stupid mistake.

It was my first report in Birt and because the Image Icon was so small I streched it to a confortable size. But at this time I fixed the size of my picture with hight and width values. So it is clearly that no other parameter will made any changes.

But now I realized how I can work with images in birt.

Thanks for your help.
