My Dynamic web (.war) project is showing an error with no description,
and I can't figure out how to correct it. The project seems to run
fine, both in eclipse, and from a built .war file, but I hate having
unexplained errors.
It has the red X on the top-level project icon, but there is no X on
anything below that. In the Problems view, it shows 4 errors, and they
all look exactly the same:
The red circle with the white X at the left side of the description
window, but NOTHING else in the description; it's completely blank.
The resource column just lists the top-level project name, with no
extension.
The path column is blank
The location column is "Unknown"
The type column is "Validation message"
I have tried starting eclipse with the -clean option, I've cleaned both
the individual project and All Projects from the Project | Clean menu.
I've cleaned the Server, the Tomcat Work Directory, and the Module work
directory using the Right-click menu on the Server in the Servers tab.
Where else can I look to try to fix this?
