Problem creating multiple project repository [message #529706]

I followed the procedures outlined in http://wiki.eclipse.org/EGit/User_Guide#Creating_a_Git_Repos itory_for_multiple_Projects to create a repository containing about 135 projects using Egit 0.7.1 in Eclipse 3.6M6 on Windows 7 Professional. Everything seemed to go OK and the projects all showed up and showed that they were on the master branch. However, if I do a git branch -a from the command line no branch shows up and there is no entry for the master branch in .git/branches.

Is this normal, and if so when will the master branch show up. If it is not normal, what do I need to do to repair the situation?
