Dear EMF Experts,

I would like to inform you that this year a model transformation that you might be interested in has been accepted as a case for the Transformation Tool Contest (see http://is.tm.tue.nl/staff/pvgorp/events/TTC2010/ for further information). For solving this case, basically a transformation needs to be specified that derives a genmodel from an annotated ecore model. Special challenges are the creation of traceability links and incremental change propagation (a more detailed description of the case can be found at the workshop website). The main purpose of the TTC is to compare model transformation tools with respect to several criteria such as expressiveness or performance. But another invaluable benefit of this contest is that new insights regarding the cases are very likely to appear.

As modeling experts with great knowledge of EMF, I would like to invite you, on behalf of the workshop's organizing committee, to join the workshop in Malaga, prepare a solution with your favorite transformation tool, or, also very much appreciated, participate in the discussion of meaningful criteria for comparing solutions of this case. You are the people that might eventually benefit from this Smile Tell us what you expect! You can use the forum of the case to this end, see http://planet-research20.org/ttc2010/index.php?option=com_co mmunity&view=groups&task=viewgroup&groupid=6& ;Itemid=150 (but you have to register first).

If you have any questions, we organizers gladly assist.

Best regards,
Steffen Mazanek
