headless update from 3.5.0 to 3.5.2 [message #528426]

I tested to do an headless update of an eclipse 3.5.0 product to Eclipse 3.5.2 via the command:

eclipsec.exe -application org.eclipse.equinox.p2.director -repository http://server/staging/galileo -installIU org.eclipse.sdk.ide -destination c:/eclipse3.5 -profile SDKprofile

this worked as it said:

Installing org.eclipse.sdk.ide 3.5.2.M20100211-1343.
Operation completed in 94046 ms.

fine! until i started it and went to help->about

and it said:

Version: 3.5.0
Build id: I20090611-1540

huh?

if i look at installation details in the tab "installation details" it says:

Eclipse SDK 3.5.2.M20100211-1343 org.eclipse.sdk.ide

if i look in the tab features it says:

Eclipse Project SDK

Version: 3.5.0.v20090423-7Q7bA7DPQ1SM6OYQ7wKYJhI-z-xZJCmLTBRhtZ0o61b1 z
Build id: I20090611-1540

and finally if i look in the configuration tab it says:

eclipse.application=org.eclipse.ui.ide.workbench
eclipse.buildId=M20100211-1343

seems something did not get right in the update? or is this something i can ignore?

Hi David,
I'm not sure why the update isn't reflected in the about box. It sure seems like the update did happen. I suggest you
enter a bugzilla for this (RT/Equinox/p2).
