Hello,
in ATL, there is an attribute called '__xmiID__' that is available for
all EMF elements, and can be read for input elements of the
transformation, and can be set for output elements. I was wondering
whether something similar is available for QVTo (my first question)?
I did find _localId and _globalId in the QVT reference documentation,
but it seems my eclipse/qvto version
(eclipse-modeling-galileo-SR2-incubation-linux-gtk-20100301) doesn't
support it:
Description Resource Path Location Type
'_globalId' is not yet supported urgentacts.qvto /XXX/transforms line
30 QVT Operational Problem
'_localId' is not yet supported urgentacts.qvto /XXX/transforms line 29
QVT Operational Problem
The documentation for _localId and _globalId is very short:
8.3.4.1 _localId
Element::_localId() : String
Returns a local internal identifier for the instance (it
uniquely identifies the instance in respect to the instance
containing it).
8.3.4.2 _globalId
Element::_globalId() : String
Returns a global identifier for the instance, which
identifies the instance in the used model extent.
I was wondering whether maybe _globalId is meant to be the xmi:id (my
second question)?
