How to pass values to Eclipse RCP application [message #524988]

Hey friedns,
I'm new to Eclipse RCP and dnt know so much about it. I need to build a sample application which will take input value from another java application and will render it in tabular format. could you please help me in how to pass output value to Eclipse RCP application.

I guess it is a kind of data that will be updated periodically, in this case I suggest any kind of IPC that you are familiar with (e.g., sockets).
