Hello

We are currently using subclipse with the svnkit backend. However, I
would like to migrate to subversive.

In a workpsace, I noticed that all projects were no longer treated as
being under version control after switching to subversive despite the
fact that svnkit was used by subclipse and subversive (assuming that the
svn metadata should be compatible).

How would a migration of the workspaces look alike? Is there an
alternative to a re-checkout of all projects? I don't mind fiddling in
..project files and alike of it helps...

This is possibly the biggest potential show-stopper for the migration
as ~120 engineers would have to re-checkout all their workspaces.

Thanks

Michael

Hello Michael,

Steps to migrate:
1. disconnect all projects (but don't delete SVN meta information)
2. disable Subclipse and restart Eclipse
3. install Subversive
4. select projects and call Team/Share Projects

Hi ho,
I got a similar problem. I got Eclipse Juno and have installed subversive on scratch. I am using a workspace that was under subclipse before having those .svn folders. I can see the repositoy with the repository view, but selecting usual Java view I cannot see any grapical hint on the projects that they are already in the repository.
What is ment by the hint "disconnecting all projects"? Is it the context menu order "close project"?
When I then try to "select projects and call Team/Share Projects" Share Projects is mentioned in the Submenu, though, but stays grey and is not selectable Sad

What am I missing?
