Hi all,
i want to implement a transformation, which i want to include as into my
plugin ui. The ast stand of headless exeuction from November 2009 was
that it is not possible to incoke a transformation from within an
user-specific plugin and that the transformation should exported
"deployable plugins and fragment".
Is this still true or is it possible to invoke the transformation from
within a context menu?
Thanks a lot Timothy

Hi Timothy,
We've made our possible since we began writing this new version of
Acceleo so that it can be used standalone. Your bug from November was
that headless builds were failing if I recall correctly. This should
have been fixed from the M4 build (December 2009). As you never raised
any bugzilla entry for this, I forgot that the fix could have been
verified on your use case.
Evaluation of already compiled emtl files has always been possible in
standalone, as is calling the compiler on mtl files. The failure you
were experiencing was that you were trying to call emtl files, without
recompiling any of them, after the jdt deleted all of them. We now
automatically call the Acceleo builder after the java builder deletes
everything, and your use case should be functional.
