Hello,

I am looking for a build with a resolution for this closed bug, (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=261393) and as I read the defect I would expect it to be already fixed in 3.1.2, but that's not the case. Can someone point me in the right direction?

thanks
~john

It would help to provide a little more information on what is not working.

Sure. There is no way through the public API to validate a WSDL. You have to use internal eclipse classes to do it. This defect has a patch to address the problem, and indicates that it was to be applied to WTP 3.0.4 and WTP 3.1. AFAICT, it hasn't been applied, but the defect is closed. I don't follow the project closely so maybe I'm misinterpreting the status of the bug?

I would suggest opening a bug, cloneing the original bug as reference, and attach some details to how you are trying to address the problem. One thing you'll find is that in WTP there are many times that you still need to use internals. If you can document your pain points with the existing API in a bug they can hopefully be addressed.
