Building for Windows on Linux [message #518755] Thu, 04 March 2010 17:14

Hello,

Sorry if my questions may be too naive, I am just starting out on the build path...

I am using Buckminster to build my plugins and it works to build my plugins for Linux, but can I also build for Windows on Linux?

I read more closely Ralf Ebert's article on buckminster and hudson and he says that " Creating the product would not work with * for os/ws/arch, because you can create the product only for a specific platform." So how would I go about building for different platforms then? (Without hudson)

thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Yes, you can do cross-platform builds.
