Adding classpath variable, focus problem [message #517714] Mon, 01 March 2010 14:43
Eclipse UserFriend
Eclipse 3.5.2 (including the latest SR-2 update).

When I add a Variable item to a projects classpath, sometimes there is a focus problem in the "Variable Extension" dialog:

- I click Extend... in the "New Variable Classpath Entry" dialog
- I use the mouse on the scroll bar to scroll down the list
- I click inside the windows, onto the folder tree

At that moment, sometimes (like one third of occasions) the folder tree is scrolled back to the top.

Similarly, if after opening the dialog, I type something in the filter text field, then press enter, the focus jumps to the filtered item, but immediately afterward it jumps again to the top of the list.

It is just a minor annoyance, since after the fact I can scroll down again and do what I intended.

Is this a known bug? I think it was happening also before the SR-2 update.

Regards,
David
