Hi all,

I have a report where i need a table that has dynamic columns and static rows. Is this somehow possible. I can create everything i want with the BIRT standard Table, but then the Orientation is wrong. Is it possible to just flip the table or switch columns and rows somehow?

Thanks Franzi

Sounds like a crosstab might be what you want?

Hi,

no unfortunately it is not. I need running sums which I can't use in crosstabs also i don't need dynamic rows AND dynamic columns.
I would have only one dynamic group (time in month) and 2 or 3 measures that need to be summed up for the month and for the time from start to said month (running sum).

it suppsosed to look like this
               Jan Feb Mar Apr ...
Measure1 Sum1Jan Sum1Feb Sum1Mar Sum1Apr ...
Measure2 Sum2Jan Sum2Feb Sum2Mar Sum2Apr ...
Measure3 Sum3Jan Sum3Feb Sum3Mar Sum3Apr ...

Acc Measure1 RunSum1 RunSum1 RunSum1 RunSum1 ...
               Jan Jan-Feb Jan-Mar Jan-Apr
Acc Measure2 RunSum2 RunSum2 RunSum2 RunSum2 ...
               Jan Jan-Feb Jan-Mar Jan-Apr
Acc Measure3 RunSum3 RunSum3 RunSum3 RunSum3 ...
               Jan Jan-Feb Jan-Mar Jan-Apr

I hope this makes it clearer what i need.
It is working with the table but it would be a rather long and very small table and our customer wants the month on top.

Thanks Franzi
