Hi,
I embedded AWT into a SWT View using the bridge. Works perfectly under
Windows but under Linux, the SWT frame is displayed detached from the
SWT view. In other words, when the view is activated under Linux, the
AWT frame does not appear in the SWT view, as it does under Windows, but
rather "pops up" in its own view outside of the RCP app.
Why would this be so?
I am using Eclipse 3.5.1, Java 6, Linux 2.6.16, gtk2-2.8.11-0.15
Thanks, y

Hi,
This is not a known problem, so I don't have a solution to suggest. If you
can log a report for this with swt (
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Platform &component=SWT )
and provide a means of producing the problem (ideal template:
http://www.eclipse.org/swt/faq.php#whatisasnippet ) then it can be
investigated.
Thanks!
