Eclipse User

hi there, i'm a new in this forum, i use eclipse galileo:Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers, but i would install a plugin for java...but i have som problem..i don't understand how i can do it!
I try Help->Install New Software but my "avaiable software site" list is empty.
I use Ubuntu 9.10, any one can help me??thx so much
