Support for refactoring [message #51861] Thu, 19 May 2005 13:42 Go to next message

I'm using AJDT 1.2.0 RC1 and tried to move an .aj file from one project to
another while the package name remains the same. This pops up a
'Refactoring' dialog indicating that the compilation unit must end with
..java. This would seem to be a very simple refactoring task.

I noticed an append to this forum a year ago indicating refactoring wasn't
supported with AJDT. Are there any plans to support it?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Yes, this is a known problem, covered by bug 76365.

Yes, as soon as we possibly can. Not in 1.2.0, but we plan to make a start
on some basic refactoring support in the following release.

Matt.
