Hi somebody..
I'm new with GMF technology. and I'm using the GMF tutorials.
first of all...
I create my metamodel. and I include it in my project,
then I generate an instance of my metam... a "model"
afterwards I create the .gmfgraph, gmftool. and gmfmap
but when i try to generate my .gmfgen
i have bad results..

Like this

validatio failed unexpectedly for Gen editor generator org.eclipse.gmf.examples.Goalprofile.diagram
validatio failed unexpectedly for Gen diagram SchemeEditpart
validatio failed unexpectedly for Metamodel type org.eclipse.gmf.examples.Goalprofile.diagram.Scheme_1000
validatio failed unexpectedly for figure viewmap org.eclipse.draw2d.freeformlayer
validatio failed unexpectedly for Gen toplevel node StrateguicEditpart
validatio failed unexpectedly for Metamodel type org.eclipse.gmf.examples.Goalprofile.diagram.Strategic_2001
validatio failed unexpectedly for inner class viewmap Strategicfigure

i did everithing like tutorial said.

im trying a lot... and i have this results!!

validation errors... i can't generate code, cause this results...

Can sombedy help me to resolve my situatuation.??

thanks...

Hi Zuryman,

when you create a *.gmfgraph, map, tool and gen file, you can right click on the root of the file and select "Validate": the error window opens, and in it you can find more info about the error, which can drive your bug fixing process.

Hope this helps, bye

Giovanni.

Hi Zuryman,

unfortunately the error stack you posted before it's too generic to understand what's happened. It seems you have a lot of design errors, but I can't be more specific.
The following tutorials helps me a lot, I hope you can find them useful:

Regards,
Giovanni.

Hi Giovanny Again...

look... i made a video about my problem..

i've thinking about ermm... if i could send this video to you...

so.. you could watch exactly where is the problem..

may i have your E-mail... please...
to send to you the video...

This video it's made it in camstudio... so you need cam studio software to reproduce the video

I read all the tutorials that you posted here
and i saw the video too.. but It doesn't tell nothing about it
