We are finalising the details of the venue in the next couple of days but it will definitely be in the West End of London. We are also formalising the agenda and so far have an Actuate product specialist confirmed to come along and tell us about the latest happenings in the BIRT world, including a preview of the new Actuate BIRT version 11.
Since the agenda is at an early stage I would like to give you the opportunity to help shape the group into something that will be of use to you. Please drop me a line with your ideas of things that you would like the user group to do and tell me how you would like to see it shape up in the coming months.
Here are a few ideas to get you started...
How often meetings should be held
Ideal location for meetings
Topics for meetings
Topics for the newsletter
What food/drink should be available at meetings
Should meetings be in the evening or daytime
All ideas, no matter how crazy they may sound will be gratefully received!
Finally we would like to feature a user case study at each meeting so if you would like to tell the other members about what you have been up to with BIRT please drop me a line.
