Memory use and leak in Javascript Editor [message #508189] Sun, 17 January 2010 07:09
Eclipse UserFriend
I have Eclipse J2EE 3.5.1
with
SVN kit
m2eclipse
sysdeo Tomcat

With all editors closed, if I open a 26Kb valid javascript file using the default Javascript editor, memory use goes from 170Mb to around 400Mb. Shocked Running the garbage collector doesn't get it below 370.

Memory use also seems a bit erratic when I use the Javascript editor. When I close it, back to 170Mb again.

Cheers,

Marc
