I´m always have this question following me, in my life.

EMF models when generated edit , command is a "perfect" implementation of
the MVC pattern. Is there any performance issue for EMF to not use it on
web apps. Like in case of a simple web app for intranet for example?

Hi Jose,
EMF in itself does not have performance issues, the generated code for the EMF model is very efficient and focused on
runtime performance (with the integration with the runtime model). My experience with web apps and performance is that
performance is mostly related to the way the web app talks to the database (lazy loading etc.). For EMF and database
integration in web apps you can check out the Teneo project (http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/?project=teneo and
http://www.elver.org).
