I have installed Eclipse Galileo on windows vista. I have also installed
subclipse and comitted some java files to a remote repository.

Now I would like to use tasks and the automatic commit message functionality
described here:

http://help.eclipse.org/galileo/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse .mylyn.help.ui/userguide/Team-Support.html

I have followed the steps described above (activated a task and synchronized
the resources). I have also defined the following commit template in
Window -> Preferences -> Tasks -> Team.:

[#${task.id}: ${task.status} (${task.summary})]

Now when I commit a file from a task that is activated I just get a blank
commit box like this:

I have also tried to add the above template into the commit box but that
does not help. What am I doing wrong?
