Hello,

If I do a mouse-over over an element (i.e. a table) which is bigger than its container (i.e. a grid),
I can see the label table "floating" somewhere under that grid, but I cannot select it (by clicking on that label).
As soon as I am not over that table the label disappear.

If I click during that label is displaying, the table-row is selected (I need the table to be selected).

A workaround is to "temporarily" make the grid bigger enough to see the complete table but this is very time consuming since:
- I have a lot of such grids-tables configured
- The formatting of those is very difficult because this has to fit a determined page size (small changes causing page-overflow)
- If I forgot how big the grid was, I have to start calculating the correct size again
- The formatting in the viewer is different then for example downloading it as a power-point file, therefore the formatting has to be checked on both formats

The should be an easier way to select such partially displayed elements in the Report Designer...

I tried typing the element ID on the ID field in the Properties tab to "jump" to that element (since I need it there in the properties tab), but that field is read-only.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Tero,

Use the outline view to select the table. Should be bottom left.
