After starting Eclipse.exe and loading workbench on Windows XP, got a message "Problem Occurred" and read

Unable to read workbench state. Workbench UI layout will be reset.
Invalid thread access

Lost a previous layout. How do I fix it or where to find it??

I just updated eclipse to the latest version, and I now have the same problem. I have tried replacing the eclipse.ini with a previously working one, but this has no effect.
