Hey all,

i´m trying to implement an update mechanism for our RCP application, using this tutorial:

http://www.ralfebert.de/blog/eclipsercp/p2_updates_tutorial/

Installation and Update of new Software works perfectely, but updating the main main application fails Sad
I´m refering to the chapter: "Add self-update to the application" in the tutorial.
I dont understand the 5th. point mentioned:

"Keep the old exported application folder, but rename it to something like mail_old. Also keep the repository. Export the deployable product so that the repository folder is updated with the artifacts."

Do i have to export my complete product again? And what is the repository folder? I created a p2.inf file and added a repository at c:\temp\update. Is it that repository?
A few lines above he wrote that:
"Have a look at the exported product folder. You'll see that a repository was generated for the product as well. This can be used to update the application."
I think for me no repository was generated... or which name does the folder have???

Thanks for any advice or hint.

Greetz
