The investigation for bug 292330 uncovered resource leaks in the highlighter
feature which is part of Mylyn UI Experiments (distributed from the
incubator update site). We currently do not have the resources to fix and
maintain this feature and are considering to remove it in the next major
version since the current implementation is doing more harm than good.
Please comment on this bug if you are using the Sandbox highlighters or have
interest in maintaining it. If we can gather enough interest we can
probably work out a way to keep the feature rather than removing it:
