Hi,

As I downloaded the newest e4 milestone SDK build, I saw there a warning
that the modeled workbench has undergone some significant changes.

Unfortunately, there is scarecly any information about those changes to
be found on the net.

Can someone from e4 group please elaborate more on what has changed?

The basic description is on the wiki, at http://wiki.eclipse.org/E4/UI/Modeled_UI

The work involves refactoring the model, and the new model takes a more "mixed in interface" approach.

The demos in HEAD have been updated to use the new model (it's more of a refactoring and a separation of responsibility than a major structural redesign)
