ViewToolBarManager Question [message #499974] Tue, 24 November 2009 15:56 Go to next message

Hi,

still using the fancy layout,
it seems to me that command contributions to a view's toolbar (buttons in my
case) are not updated due to the commands state (enabled/disabled).
Does the ViewToolBarManager support this feature?

Am I missing something?

Hi Niels,
this is a allready file bug which I fixed today.

295704: [design] View toolbar items doesn't consider action enabling/disabling
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=295704

Please use the bug if you get still errors.

Hi Holger,

thank you for the quick fix!

Another question to Toolbar.
Contributions are not visible by default. I have to open the ConfigDialog
and check them. What do I need to change to have the contrary behaviour?
For me contributions should be visible by default.

issue tomorrow with Rüdiger and we will see if we can commit the patch
or create a better solution.
