Hi,
I'm working at a project which uses the latest RAP stable version.
My company plans a release of the project at the beginning of next year. We were wondering how risky it is to upgrade RAP to milestone 1.3 M3? I noticed quite a lot of new things introduced, and also a lot of bugs were fixed. I tested a little our application using this milestone, and I didn't notice any inappropriate behavior...even more, the application improved a lot. But, still I would like to hear some opinions from the RAP guys.
Thanks,
Laura

Laura,
from my POV there is no right answer possible form the outside. We
try hard to keep the code base as stable as possible. In M3 and the
previous 1.3 milestones, a lot of usability and appearance details
were improved. However, the milestones aren't as thoroughly tested
as a release. In addition extra care is taken during the ramp down
phase [1] before a release and service releases are provided afterwards.
My personal tendency would be towards M3 but in the end it depends
on the requirements your application has to meet.
Hope this helps nonetheless
