Nice little visualization tool. I've checked out the source from CVS as indicated on the web site and built it (export wizard) in my workspace. (I'm using Galileo on Windows XP Pro) I then put the jar file into the /plugins dir and restarted but the view is not there. Tried the /dropins dir but still nothing. I then tried "Launch and Eclipse application" from a Manifest overview page and the new instance of eclipse has the view.
Why can't I get it to show up in my launched eclipse? How can I check the start up to see if it is seeing it but failing to load? (I tried starting with '-clean' option too)

Can't you just fetch it from repository?

http://eclipsesource.com/blogs/2009/10/21/pde-visualization- is-available/

Why are you checking it out from CVS? Do you want to contribute to the
effort :)? That would be awesome!

That worked just fine!

As to why... I didn't know about it since the eclipse pde site [ http://www.eclipse.org/pde/incubator/dependency-visualizatio n/index.php ] indicates that it is only available from source or possibly former non working download site noted there. [ http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/pde/incubator/visualizat ion/site ]

As to helping I would/will where/when I can but am fairly new and am currently buried in trying to decipher an RCP project I've inherited. This tool is helping to see how it is tangled together.

Thanks for your help.
