1) Is there a way to contribute to the statusline at the extreme left? My contribution item is
showing up in the middle of the status line even using:

statusMgr.prependToGroup(StatusLineManager.BEGIN_GROUP, item);

Currently, at the extreme left is the platform standard openView button -- would like my
contribution to be left of this button or at a small offset after.

2) how is that openView button being contributed? It looks like a menu item. Plugin-Spy does not
work on it. Can you please provide a pointer to its source?
