Restoring empty shell for detached non-restorable views [message #494664] Mon, 02 November 2009 01:56

When I left some of the non-restorable views detached and close the RCP, it
always gives me empty detached shell (blank gray) in the next startup.

If manually close this empty shell by press the corner "X", sometimes it
occupies the shell and make the next view opening failure (give no error
prompt/log, just nothing happen).

As a stupid workaround, I have to ask users to drag something into the empty
shell and drag it back.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks
