Hi,

I have initialised an ecore diagram off my ecore file, which contains a simple package which has some classes in it.

The diagram has appeared, and classes in the root package are showing, but classes in the sub package are not shown. In the outline view, the classes of the packages are show correctly. I don't seem to be filtering anything -

any ideas?

Thanks

Tom

Ah, if I drag the class from the outline view, I can make it appear in the Package. - is there any way to get that to happen automatically?, as that might be a bit boring with large and complex ecore files

Thanks,

Tom

Tom,

It's often the case that subpackages cause small issues because they
aren't used so frequently. With drag and drop from the outline to the
diagram, you can add the classes that are missing.

Hello,

some years later Very Happy, anything new on how to automatically display cross-referenced classes in an ecorediag? (e.g. when generated from an ecore file)

greetings
Roger

Roger,

The thread was about subpackages. The drag and drop answer is still the
same...

Hello,

Thanks for the reply you are right I am talking about cross-references here because the drag-and-drop thing sounded so familiar to my usecase. I guess the handling is the same. (still cumbersome)

So no way of automatic loading yet right?

Thanks again

Roger,

Yes, the diagram by default includes only the classifiers in the
package, and there isn't an option for it to do otherwise.
