Within the View/Editor RCP paradigm, I'm trying to figure out how to modify or hide the standard 1-pixel black border around each view or editor, or if it's even possible. Anybody know how?

I was also trying to figure out if it's possible (or a horribly bad idea) to try to replace the TrimLayout defined by the WorkbenchWindowAdvisor.createWindowContents(), because the TrimLayout that's initially set up doesn't allow (at least in 3.5) margins to be set. Basically, I'm fighting the default layout at every turn right now, and trying to figure out where I should just give up and where I can actually change things.

Any ideas/pointers would be appreciated!
Dave
