Ok, in the documentation of the Integrations for Subversive, its clearly listed M2Eclipse.

The problem is its not. At least not built-in. We have to add this update site as repository.
http://www.polarion.org/projects/subversive/download/integra tions/update-site/

Thats ok, but could you at least list this website in the Integration page : http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/integrations.php so it could save a lot of search time, and make it more "official"

please!

Thanks.

JF

Edit: Sorry, to clarify, im talking about the Check Out as Maven... option

I just installed Subversive and M2Eclipse and was also a bit confused. I'll describe my steps here:

I googled for how to integrate Subversive with M2Eclipse, and my first interesting match was:
https://docs.sonatype.org/display/M2ECLIPSE/Integration+with +Subversive

Though, this page hadn't been updated for a year and Subversive had some big changes in installation for Galileo, so I tried searching on Subversive pages instead, and got:
http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/integrations.php
Unfortunately, this page doesn't link to any instructions on how to install the integration.

I still want to see what Subversive says about M2Eclipse, so my next try is:
http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/documentation/gettingStart ed/aboutSubversive/install.php
which still mentions only Ganymede, but as this is the official site I'm assuming the info is applicable for Galileo as well. The linked URL page:
http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/downloads.php
doesn't mention the integration URL for Galileo so I back up to
http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/documentation/gettingStart ed/aboutSubversive/install.php
and extract the integration URL from the picture in Step 4:
http://www.polarion.org/projects/subversive/download/integra tions/update-site/

Though, after installing from this URL I come across a page on polarion:
http://www.polarion.com/products/svn/subversive/download.php
that mentions another URL for Galileo integrations:
http://community.polarion.com/projects/subversive/download/i ntegrations/galileo-site/
And I'm still not convinced that I can trust the polarion site to be up-to-date, as f ex New and Noteworthy articles seem to be newer on eclipse.org.

As you can see, someone who is trying to do this is getting a fairly fragmented picture.

It would be great if there could be a clear distinction on what information belongs on each site, maintaining it in only one place, and linking between the sites when needed. Having one starting point that links to all relevant information (whether on polarion or eclipse) would also be nice.
A good first step though, could be to actually remove stale copies of information so Google can help you find the pages that are up-to-date.

Best regards
Mike Wilson
