Junior Member
Whenever I create a new task and activate it a random file opens and get
added to the context.

When I create the task there is no open editor and I'm not been able to
figure how the file to open is choosed (it seems completely random to
me). If I try to delete the task and re-create it a different file get
choosed.

Is this a bug or it's me doing something wrong?

It's caused by the same defect as this bug:

255923: activating a newly created task switches to Java perspective
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=255923

We are planning to fix that in the 3.3 release.
