UML profiles multiplicties [message #477451] Tue, 27 May 2008 09:18 Go to next message

Hi,

I have defined a UML profile with different stereotype and between these
stereotypes I have defined several directed associations which also
contain multiplicities. When I now apply this profile on a model. The
eclipse validator sees which assoictions are missing but after I add the
correct association the validator still does not pass.

Hi Frederik,

What is the error that the validator is reporting? What exactly is not
passing? Can you explain what the profile looks like and the model element
you are applying it to?

Cheers,
- James.

Hi james

Thank you for your reaction but I solved this issue. However I still
have problems evaluating OCL constraint defined in my UML profile. Do
the UML2 tools not support OCL validation?

Kind Regards,
Frederik

Hi Frederik,

The UML2 tools group can better answer what level of OCL validation support
is provided in their component. I've cc'd the question to that newsgroup.

Cheers,
- James.
