[TOPCASED] Opening a Profile and a Model applying it at the same time [message #476497] Wed, 27 May 2009 08:22 Go to next message

I don't know if this is the right place to ask a TOPCASED question but
maybe you can help me.
I created a profile in TOPCASED. Then I opened a class diagram, loaded
the profile and applied it. But if I close one of the editors (profile
or model) and try to re-open it I get the exception that another editor
is open handling the other file. Why is that? The point is that my
profile is evolving and my model as well and I need to have them open
both. I can't unapply the profile every time, to just open both and then
apply it again.

regards
Gilbert

Gilbert, you should use the dedicated Topcased users' mailing list for
questions related to the use of Topcased
:( http://lists.gforge.enseeiht.fr/mailman/listinfo/topcased-us ers).

This behavior is intentional. See Bug #1405 for more details
( http://gforge.enseeiht.fr/tracker/?group_id=52&atid=109& amp;func=detail&aid=1405).

As indicated in the documentation, you can disable that behavior by
creating a file named "allowConcurrentAcces" in the .metadata of the
workspace in the folder
/workspacePath/.metadata/.plugins/org.topcased.modeler

Regards,
Jacques

Just another question. Is the mailing-list frequently used?
