Hi,

can anybody give a short status report about the Facelets Tools Project ?

http://wiki.eclipse.org/JSF_Facelets_Tools_Project

It seems to me that nothing happens.
Today I tried to build the plugin new form the sources. But I now can't
find the sources in the cvs repository any longer?

http://wiki.eclipse.org/JSF_Facelets_Tools_Project#How_to_do _I_get_it.3F

A long time ago I build a version of the Plugin
http://www-02.imixs.com:8081/roller/ralphsjavablog/entry/ecl ipse_ganymede_maven2_facelets

and it seems to be a little bit newer as the version which is provided at
this page:

http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/incubator/downloads/

Who is working with the Plugin? Is there anybody who have a newer version?

thanks for feedback
ralph

Hi Ralph,

I had replied to your post to the wtp-jsf-dev mailing list,
http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/wtp-jsf-dev/msg00344.ht ml

I am copying my response here:

Hi Ralph,

Thanks for your interest in the JSF Facelets Tools Incubator Project. The
WTP-JSF Tools sub-project is responsible for the Facelets Tools project.

The plan was to graduate the Facelets tooling support to the JSF Tools
Project in the Galileo release, see bug
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=251798 . However, we had to
defer this work since JSF 2.0 specification will not be officially
released in time for Galileo. This change was reported in the bug and also
in this mailing list,
http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/wtp-jsf-dev/msg00342.ht ml

The Source is still available in the CVS repository as documented in the
wiki. A Ganymede version of the build is available here,
http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/drops/R3.0/R- 3.0.2-20080921203356/
, linked from the incubator download page,
http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/incubator/downloads/ . We have yet to
integrate the project with the automatic build, but plan to do so.

As always, we are looking to contribution from interested parties. Please
share your interest in the project and the nature of contribution you are
willing to make.

Thanks
Raghu Srinivasan,
Project Lead - JSF Tools Project, JSF Facelets Tools Incubator Project

I'm a little confused by the previous message. I'm using Galileo. Is
there a place to download the current version of facelets tools for JSF
1.2 support?

Is it the same as the version for Eclipse 3.4?
